Rue's Blurbs
About:
Rue has had a lifelong fascination in astronomy, and heavily studied it since she was old enough to read. But as space travel became more commonplace, getting to be in space became a lot less glamorous. Of all the jobs on the massive multi-purpose AXIS spacecraft, she ended up as a minimum wage janitor.
Her life remained rather mundane until, while cleaning nearby an airlock, she found a strange man in an unfamiliar space suit. Hand hovering over a taser for self defense, she questioned him. His name was, apparently, Sir Heins Spaceman, and he was an alien. While obviously skeptical of his origins, she agreed that she'd keep his presence a secret until they returned to Earth. Upon landing, Heins asked to crash at her place until he could contact his colony. She now has to babysit a 6' tall (and very dim-witted) alien roommate that sleeps on her couch. Unbeknownst to her, he actually has no plans of returning, much preferring life on Earth compared to his life in the Masivus space colony he originated from.
Rue can sometimes come across as abraisive to other people, but is deeply compassionate and protective over those she cares about. She is also easily frightened, though puts up a tough front. Rue struggles to openly display fond emotions, and tends to playfully tease or insult those she's friends with.
