Allard's Blurbs
About:
Allard is an ageless forest spirit who takes the form of an adult human male with unicorn traits. He lives deep within a lush woodland that, until recently, had little to no human contact. He can communicate with any animal and uses this skill to care for the forest and maintain diplomacy between different animal species. While most animals are neutral and see him as kin rather than an authority figure, some worship him like a god, and others hate him.
He based his appearance on scraps of an 80s high fashion magazine, one of the only human artifacts he had for a long time. He is deeply fascinated by humans but stays wary of them due to their lack of connection to magic and somewhat destructive tendencies.
Allard has a very trusting attitude, to the point of being naïve. Being part prey animal, he is almost always alert and flighty. He is also easily excitable.
Notes:
- - His powers include: being able to understand and communicate with any animal, healing/bringing things back to life (typically restricted to flora/fungi, because other life forms are complex & therefore draining), total immortality (cannot age nor be harmed), being able to change forms (though he usually only switches between his human-icorn form and a pale mist), and being able to float/walk about a foot off the ground (including over water). When using magical energy, he gives off a very faint glow
- - His hair and fur are extremely soft, and when he sheds he often gives pieces to animals for nesting materials
- - He has difficulty staying still
- - His leotard is made of a very glittery spandex material
